Hey,
I'm running the newest version of Internet Explorer, so
far as I know, and I'm using Windows XP.
Last night, I downloaded Yahoo! Messenger and ever since
then, my Internet Explorer only allows one window open at
a time. If I click to open in a new window, it replaces
the content of the current window. If I open a new
window from the desktop, it replaces the former one.
I'm not sure Yahoo! Messenger is to blame, but it seems
likely. I even tried resetting the computer, but no
luck. And I followed the steps outlined to fix this
problem for Windows 95/NT, and again no change. Would
uninstalling Messenger remove the problem, or will it
still remain? And if possible, is there a way to keep
Messenger but get rid of this problem? I never have had
Messenger cause such a problem on previous computers.
Thanks for any assistance!
