Internet Explorer Opens A Serach Engine

Whenever i start internet explorer it takes me to a search engine. i Hav tried to remove this entry from the home page section on tools menu and also from the registry but it again comes back. Can some one suggest how do i get rid of these entries that come again and again inspite of removing them from the registry ??

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
