Because it encountered a problem? Seriously you need to provide more
information. What version of IE 6 or 7? What is the history of the
problem? What is the malware status of the computer and how do you check
for that? Is this a sudden problem? If so what changes occurred to the
system right before it stated? When does this error occur?

Have you disabled all the add ins to see if one of those is causing the
problem?

There is an internet explorer newsgroup. There are quite a few posts there
so peruse them for something on topic before posting a new message.
