Internet Explorer Freezing help

Every time a page is loaded with internet explorer, about 10 seconds after the page loads the page will freeze for about 3 seconds. It's acting like it's loading more, but the page will be completely done. I'm not sure if there is some sort of spyware making my computer do this, or maybe it's a virus.
 
Hmmm sounds familiar. go to the trendmicro web site and do a free virus
scan. THis is a powerfull engine that found more than norton and mcafee
together. Sounds like malware that's causing the pause.
