Internet explorer crashing

Hi all
Evry time i open Internet explorer it crashes with the message ...Inernet Explorer has encontered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for any inconvenience plz tell Microsoft about this problem and has option of sending an error report or not sending, despite sending the error report several times ..i am none the better, i can use AOL as a web browser but cant seem to use IE any more ..has any 1 any suggestions as to what the problem is >>>?????
