internet explorer connection problem

Im using internet explorer 7. Today it will not connect to any web page.
Using a wireless router which is connecting. Outlook express can connect and
so can Firefox. I have tried reinstalling IE7 but it makes no difference. Any
ideas please!
 
Click START
Click RUN
Type prefetch
A window will open up delete all the files from this window
close the window
Click START
RUN
type cmd
type " netsh winsock reset "
restart the computer
Let me know if this resolves the problem
