Internet Explorer cannot open certain Internet sites/pages

I'm running IE6 on Windows 2000 and have been for some
time. Recently certain pages will not load. and I receive
a message:

"Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
http://www.lastminute.com Operation aborted"

Then I get the page cannot be displayed error.

This happens occasionaly when trying to access a site and
occasionaly when accessing certain pages within site I've
already accessed.

It's consistent in that it always occurs on the same
pages. I can access those pages using IE6 on an XP
machine.

Have run Adaware, deleted cookies and files, but error
still occurs. Any ideas?

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS
