Whenever I attempt to download a file, rightclick on a
link and use "Save Target As" or click on a link that
requires Acrobat, RealPlayer, or any other non-IE
software to open, I get the following error message:
"Internet Explorer cannot download [...] from [address].
Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet
website. The requested site is either unavailable or
cannot be found. Please try again later."
I have IE6 with SP1, and "Do not save encrypted pages to
disk" is unchecked in Tools/Options/Advanced/Security,
which would be a potential source of a problem like this.
I have AVG running, but this hasn't caused any problems
before.
Please help!
