Internet Explorer Browser

I've had an on going problem with IE browser. When I try to read letters I
keep getting a bleep as though I'm beeing blocked. I think that I need to to
repair IE. Now IE came pre installed and i have the disk to reinstall it. the
problem is that I can't seem to boot from the CD. I know I have to go in some
where and change the order of the boot process so that my PC reads the CD
drive first. How do I do this. Or is there an easyer way to repeair IE?

You haven't described your scenario clearly. I'm just going to guess
that you have IE6 with SP2 installed and the bleep you're hearing is an
attempt to install an ActiveX control from a little window along the top
of the display area.

If not,please explain more, and possibly take it to one of the many IE
newsgroups.
