internet explorer 6

My probem is that explorer is not able to link to web
pages. I get this error message; Action cancelled internet
explorer unable to link to the requested web page. Anyone
have a soution to thisn problem

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

If you have such a file and did not create it then you may have parasites on
your system.
