Internet Explorer 6 problem

I'm using IE 6.0 with Windows XP, and it has started doing something
annoying. If I try to open a link in a new window, it closes the old
window. If I'm in Yahoo groups or Delphi forums and I want to check
out a link that someone else posted, I lose my original window and have
to use History to find my way back to it. Any ideas?
 
Have you tried this?
Tools-Internet Options-Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"

If that is not the problem, then perhaps it is a toolbar you have
added?
Try removing extra toolbars, in particular, the Yahoo toolbar.
