Internet Explorer 6 not dialing up

When I open Internet Explorer 6 under Windows XP Home,
the dial up connection does not appear, even through I
have set Internet Explorer to dial my default connection
and also to check for updates of stored pages when
starting internet explorer

Now you also have to go to your "default" connection to

set that up to accept Internet Explorer. It is a two-way
approach.
