Internet Explorer 6 error message

I have Explorer 6 installed on my Toshiba 1730 lap top.
After downloading the latest service pack I am now getting
an error message "LEplore has caused an error in Kernel
32.dll" This continues to ocurr after I have re-started
the computer.

Any suggestions on how to fix?

Copy/paste the following line into an IE Addressbar, click on GO, then
copy/paste the results into your reply:

javascript:navigator.appMinorVersion

Also state your Windows version and state how old the laptop is.
