In WindowsIn Windows XP Pro, when I set up a user and the
user (one of my kids), or I as Administrator clicks on
IE 6.1-- the following message appears on the screen:

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error"

"C:\Program Files\Internet explorer\IExplore.exe"

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications
support team for more information.

And IE6.1 will not open

Any HELP !!

Hello,

This may be caused by some spyware/adware software on your
system. I would suggest getting Ad-Aware from
http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ and running a
check on your system to see if it finds any of this rogue
software.

Another thing that you could try is to reset the options
to default in Internet Options with both accounts.
