internet disconnection

I am trying to download an anti-virus programme which i have purchased, but it will take about 3 hours. Everytime i try the computer automatically disconnects from internet after 2 hours and i have to start again. Please could anyone tell me how to stop it disconnecting automatically?

If you use a download manager you will not have to start
all over again,it will start where the connection was
broken at.
