Each time I log onto the internet, I have to change my "internet options" connections options. The computer does not remember my saved preferences. I have to go in and change the "dial up settings" and the "LAN settings". When I go online, these just default back to Proxy server settings. I will get an error message of "page cannot be displayed" until I change the settings each time.
 
So why don't you disable your proxy server?
