hi, I have a Network of 3 computers; one Windows Server 2003, and 2 Xp
Professionals.
I have a ADSL Modem Router which connects to the Internet and then I
have set my computers to run through this to connect.
The computers are set up to recieve their IP Address from the Router by
DHCP. One of the XP Pro machines can successfully connect with no
problems. However, the other 2 (the XP and Server) can't connect and
when they do, pages take ages to load and eventually the connection
fails altogether.
These machines can't access the router unless I assign a manual IP and
if I sign it to recieve from the router (192.168.2.1) then it has a
Acquiring Network Address Error and the same connection problem occurs.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Richard
