We are trying to set up a new windows 2000 terminal
server in application mode. Everything is working
perfectly except for one minor detail. When a user logs
into the terminal server for the first time and trys to
run the Internet Explorer they are being presented with
the Internet Connection Wizard. Since all users have to
answer this the same it seems like there should be some
way to do this once while in install mode and then no new
user would have to answer the questions.

We've tried putting the system into install mode and
completing the wizard and then executing the changes and
this doesn't work.

Any suggestions? Maybe a registry tweak?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ivan

Hi Ivan,

I am sure there is a way to do this....however I am unaware of it. I can
tell you that it is happening because each user has their own profile in
W2k.

Well, you should be able to control these features through
local policies also.
