My antivirus program ("Bullguard") was giving me problems (not loading on
startup and freezing"), so on their support's advice I uninstalled it. Ever
since I can't connect to the internet. Working with my cable provider I
reached a message saying "Could not start the DHCP client service on local
computer. error 1608. The dependancy service for group failed to start".
Looking on-line (at work) for some explanations I found a similar problem
with other antivirus softwares that left a "SYMTDI" or "NISDRV" in the
registry. But looking through my registry in the DHCP part there were no
such things. Although, in the dependongroup part there was no input at all.
Is this what it should be?
Please help! what else can I try??

Look at your DHCP dependencies in your services.
go>start\Conrol Panel\adminstrative tools\services and
scroll down to DHCP and double click to open it. Now click
the dependencies tab and check that all the components
listed there are installed and working. Keep smiling.
