Hi,

Our LAN is on a broadband connection shared by Linksys Router. One of our
users is dominating the bandwidth when she starts downloading mp3s or the
like. How can I limit her to only use up to specified bandwidth so that the
rest of the users willl not be affected when she download.

Any clue?

Regards,
Garry

Contact LinkSys/Read your Linksys manual.

I don't know what model router you have, but perhaps you might want to invest in a Switch. A Switch is suppose to eliminate the bandwidth sharing problem and allow everyone to surf at the maximum speed.

Tell her it's against your security policy and if she keeps doing it she
will be fired!
