Internal Error 2908

On start up Windows Installer tries to install Instant Share (an HP Imaging
Product) . The install fails with Error 2908 - how do I fi the problem

I think it is related to installing SQL Server 2006, Visual Studio and .NET
Fraework v2. Now all uninstalled. I occasionally get Zone Alarm warning as
VS debug suddenly starts up for no apparent reason and vey slow performance
since.....
