Hi all,

I have two network connections (cards) available on my PC -
one to the Internet and one connecting to the internal
network. my problem is that whenever the internal one
is "enabled" then I can no longer connect to the Internet.
But if I disable the connection it works to browse.

How can I enable both to work at the same time please?

TIA

JC,

You can configure two network connections, with different destinations for each,
in the static route table.
http://www.clinch.ch/net-work/internet/NTRouteBasics.htm
<http://www.microsoft.com/windows200...advanced/help/sag_TCPIP_imp_routing_table.htm>

Provide the ipconfig and route table for your computer here, and we can help you
work it out.
Start - Run - "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in
Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Start - Run - "route print >c:\route.txt" - Open c:\route.txt in Notepad, copy
and paste into your next post.

Cheers,
Chuck
Paranoia comes from experience - and is not necessarily a bad thing.

Chuck,

Problem now solved.

The problem was two default gateways (a result of
configuring on autopilot). Take away the internal one and
all is now well.

Thanks for taking the time to help. Much appreciated.
