interfering messages

How can I disable those unwanted interfering messages about 'dictionary this
& that not being installed...' while I don't even want to check anything? I
just wanted to type some text in a document...

I'm afraid you don't give us enough information. Let's start with the version
of Word that's involved. And then, please quote the EXACT message you're
seeing.
