Firegraphic 6
My best find this month so far. Nice surprise.
Very nice graphics viewer, press ESC once to exit, great for wrangling
hundreds of family pictures. Very pretty GUI. Hefty at 3Mb, but no Windows
bloat. It will actually run from a single EXE file but the icons on the tool
bar go away.
Be sure to left click slowly on a full screen pic for a nice popup menu. Try
the printing feature. It's drag-and drop WYSIWYG. Contact sheets too. Very
quick and easy. Use the space bar or scroll wheel to toggle through pics at
warp speed.Be sure to look at all the tips. There are lots of features that
aren't real apparent.
From the Web site: ( http://www.firegraphic.com/ )
*Import and rename photos from digital cameras in one step
*Organize your photo collections in the Portfolio with tags
*Rotate, resize, convert, enhance, and rename multiple photos in a single
operation
*Play slide show of your photo collections
*Open multiple Viewers and compare photos side-by-side
*Burn your photo collections onto CDs or DVDs with an embedded Firegraphic
Viewer
*Advanced print options allow you to print photos the way you want and save
paper
*Customizable toolbar and Viewer's context menu to suit your daily working
needs
A very polished little program. Very interesting!
Watch out, there's a nasty Shareware version called Firegraphic Pro.
