Interent Exporer Keeps Trying to Connect

Hi,

When i plug my laptop into my LAN at work and type in an incorrect URL into
Internet Explorer, it tries to connect using one of my dial up connections -
even though i am already connected, is there a way to stop this?
 
You may be suffering from a Trojan.Qhosts infection, Shaun:

Update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From now on,
do so once-a-day.
