I just purchased a Wireless Intellimouse Explorer. I like it with a couple
of exceptions. One of the biggest disappointments is that Intellipoint 5.0
doesn't include 2 of the button choices I was using with my wired 5 button
mouse. Specifically, the options to assign a button to Space and Refresh are
no longer choices. Anyone know of a workaround?.........besides using the
keyboard.

Sorry if this is off topic. I couldn't find a more appropriate MS group. I
therefore chose my operating system.

The best place to post this kind of question is on:
microsoft.public.mshardware.product as questions come up all the time just
like this.

As far as what I can tell, the Intellipoint 5 software just does not do what
its supposed to do. Some people have better luck with the older 4.X versions
and some just give up. I have been watching this group rather closely as I
would like to get the combo Mouse/Keyboard in the Microsoft Elite system,
but it sure sounds like working drivers are a real problem at the moment.

Thanks Ted
