Specifically; how can I know if the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility is installed on my system? My motherboard is a Intel 865GBF. Everything on my system works fine, but; it seems like it is a little slow considering all my hand picked top of the technology scale components. My operating system is Windows XP Professional.

Have you checked "My Computer" Properties in the "General Tab"? ALSO, Go to
"RUN", and type "dxdiag" [without the quotes]...Willie

OOPS, SORRY...you were asking about the Chipset Software Installation
Utility...Did you install all MB Drivers from CD? Have you checked the BIOS
for Performance settings, comparing them to the MB Book? (Be sure to read
ALL Warnings for changing some settings) Sorry I can't be more help...
