Intel 865GBF abnormal power on

recently, I bought a original Intel 865gbf mobo, Processor P4 2.40A,
Kingston Memory 512MB, case delux m426n, power supply 550W.

the problem is that when I switch on the voltage regulator in order to
power up the system, it start immediately, without press the on button.


Then I shutdown the system and I can start it normally. (¨Pressing the
on button).

The problem returns when I switch off the voltage regulator.

I suspect that the problem could be in the power supply.

Can somebody orient to me?

This is not abnormal on this motherboard. It is a bios setting called
'auto power on' or something similar.
