The Integrated Installation is a method that I find very
useful in updating Windows XP (WXP) with Service Pack 1
(SP1). Now, I have two questtions:
1. Can new system components such as DirectX 9.0b, Windows
Media Player 9 Series and Windows Movie Maker 2 be
installed with WXP using the same method?
2. Is it possible in the future for Microsoft to release
retail and OEM versions of software products, including
Windows, on rewritable CDs (CD-RW) or DVDs (DVD-RW,
DVD+RW, DVD-RAM) so that end-users and system
administrators can fix flaws in the original setup files
with hotfixes and service packs?
Glad to receive responses from anyone out there. TQ
