I'm logged into my computer, running WinXP Home; my login
has administrator rights, yet, when I try to install
Symantec's Norton AntiVirus program I get the following
error message:
ERROR 1303
insufficient privileges to access c:\documents &
settings\all users\application data\symantec\symantec
shared\log
I also tried to create this directory, and created the
directory ..\log
but then when I tried to install AntiVirus I got error
mesage 1317
I have no problem with any other programs, but I also had
an insufficient privileges error message when I tried to
install McAfee VirusScan (never solved that problem)
