When trying to open an attachment (photo image) in an E Mail, I get the message "Insuffient Memory", but on investigating there seems to be plenty. What can I do please?

I am sort of in the same situation, my computer has been popping up this little icons telling me memory is low and microsoft is going to upgrade, today i get on and try and open a word document and the computer says not enough memory to open this document, even though i used it last night, any clue?

What application is being used to open the photo image attachments?

For general viewing & printing of image files try Irfanview (free)
from http://www.irfanview.com

Good luck
