I have a problem with a Toshiba Laptop Win XP SP1. When
i am making scanning for viruses or clean disk the
machine automatically shutdown, i search for viruses that
make this but i don't find references that apply to this
problem.

Please help me

Something is causing a "system failure" class error and you have the
default setting of "automatically restart" in effect on your computer
for these errors.

Open Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings
button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section.

Click on the "automatically restart" checkbox in the System Failure
section to clear it.

Click on OK and Apply as needed to exit.

Now when these errors happen you will get a "Blue Screen Of Death"
STOP error message and the computer will probably lock up. However
the contents of the STOP error message will be a direct clue as to
exactly what is happening.

Post the contents of the STOP error message back here if you need
further advice or assistance.
