Installing Yamaha AC-XG Audio Driver

I have already installed Windows XP Service Pack 1, then
found out I needed to install a new driver for Yamaha AC-
XG audio device. I have download the driver but the
instruction warns that if I am going to install Service
Pack 1, I should install the new driver first. Does this
mean that I need to uninstall the service pack, install
the driver and then reinstall the service pack or can I
just go ahead and install the driver after the fact. Will
this cause problems? The service pack is a long download
and I hate to redo it if it isn't necessary.

You can install the new driver whenever you want.... but ensure you try to
get it from the manfuacturer's website.
