problem installing. I have a hp pavillion ze1210 and I am
trying to reformat. I put in the windows xp CD that came
with the computer but it says that I have the wrong
notebook for this software. I re-formatted about 6 months
ago, used the same discs and had no problem. It seems
that it isn't recognizing my computer type but I have no
idea how to solve the problem.

It could be related to this: Just prior to have this
error, I tried to startup with the windows xp CD's at it
said that it could not find the "command.com" file and did
not finish installing the win95 program that runs the xp
setup. After trying this a number of times it finally
went on successfully (not giving this error), but now it
tells me that I have the wrong notebook. Please help
