installing XP SP1

I am trying to install SP1.
But the installation seems to take forever ! Is that normal ?
The installation window says -- Finishing installation, Running processes
after install.
But it is like that for a long time ..

Can I reboot the machine now ?

Hello!
if you go for a networking installation,it will take a long
time,as the file size is 134 MB.Downloading depends upon
internet speed,server's status.

WHAT IS THE OTHER ALTERNATIVE ?
when I went to the updates page, I was never given the save option.

The internet speed is very fast as I am using commercial network. I wonder
why it is taking so much time.
 
Hi,

You will be prompted to reboot. The SP1 update can take upwards of 30-40
minutes on some systems *after* it is downloaded and initiated.
