Installing XP pro on 5 machines

I can install one at a time each machine with XP Pro[which I will
probably do].
Is there a way for all machines to get installed from one machine? I
know by the time I would set it up I could have installed all 5 machines.
However I may need this for other locations I go to. There are no
servers here.
After I will network 2 printers and dsl/cable internet.

You could install one and set it up as required and then "GHOST" the
machine and use the DVD ROM to install on other machines, but take great
care about the Microsoft Licenses if yo use this method.

Good Luck

Sysprep assumes that all the machines have the same hardware and
configuration. If they don't then ghosting will not work.
As to licensing i assume you have a license for each copy of xp you are
going to use. You cannot use a single copy license to install the product on
5 different machines. Each machines requires its own unigue license number.

Here is the Microsoft rundown on sysprep and how similar the computers need
be. They don't have to be exactly the same in all respects ut in some:

Not and stay within the EULA. That said, you *can* use a single, cracked
copy license on as many machines as you like if you don't care about
breaching the EULA and depriving Bill Gates of lunch money for his children.
Each machines requires its own unigue license number.

No, MS requires it, not the machines.

If you this is a one time thing then just install Windows on each machine.
It can be automated with imaging and sysprep (or other utilities) but the
process is complicated and will take you longer to figure out than just
installing Windows on five pc's. Here are some links to get you started.

Of course not.

I did, however, get a $1600 checky-poo (one-time, bonus dividend) from
Microsoft last year, and just today my quarterly dividend check arrived, but
that in no way influences the fact that those who steal, who violate
contracts willingly entered into, especially from the righteous, are spawns
of the evil one (whose name I shall not speak, but it begins with "L").

LOL! Stockholder trying to claim they have no conflict of interest!

And not all contracts are legally binding, so it perfectly legally
allowable to break terms that you consider to be unconscionable.

But as a stockholder, your conflict of interest, YOUR GREED, has you
seeing this in Black & White, instead of the reality that MS's EULA
usage terms are in very gray areas when it comes to private
non-commercial use.

Thanks everyone for your input. I've been busy and haven't got back to
this post until now.All the machines have original cd's.So there won't
be a problem about licences.
I will experement on installation. I have prepared the 6 floppy disks
for each OS{XP home and Pro both sp2]. I will install via the disks. I
will reboot to an ME boot disk and use fdisk and reformat.
Thanks again.

You will end up with FAT32 using a ME disk. You would better off to create
the partitions and format them during the XP install process. You probably
won't need the floppy boot disks. The XP CD's should be bootable. If you
want a clean install set the BIOS to boot from the CD. Insert the XP CD and
reset the computer. When prompted press a key to boot from the CD. When you
are asked where to install XP you will be able to delete all the existing
partitions and create new ones. You will also be able to format the
partition where you choose to install XP. Once XP is installed you can use
the disk management console to format any other partitions you created.
