I already had XP installed but the system was still very unstable in regards to me experiencing many crashes. So I attempted to re-install XP over XP. I had to restart during an installation and now I can't get XP to launch. I've tried launching it with safe mode, but it lists a bunch of files or drivers it's loading and stops at something that ended in "mup". I tried to launch xp using normal mode, but it just gets past the original loading microsoft windows screen and goes into a blank black screen where it stays. RIght now, I'm in the process of installation, but it says it needs some sys file and mentions something about AGP, and inserting a disc (which I don't have, and never did) to intall the file. I hit cancel, and proceed with the installation but when it comes to the "registering components" section, at around 14 mins left in the installation, it hangs, and i can't do anything else.
