I bought a PC almost a year ago. It had pre installed
Windows XP home. A few days ago I had some troubles with
my PC so I had to format my harddisk. When I tried to
install using recovery disk it doesn't work, so I tried
to install with another XP CD , but my product key
doesn't work. Is there a way to install with a CD
different than CD recovery?

Your OEM Product Key will only work with the PC
manufacturer's recovery method. Visit the support
web site of the manufacturer of your PC and search for
the correct method for reinstalling Windows XP.
