Installing Windows XP

Ok, I put in the CD and it starts the set up and it gets all the way to
formatting..does that and then does the set up

"Please wait while setup copies files to the windows installation folders.
This may take several minutes"

It then says it needs to reboot before continuing the setup so it reboots..

BUT..it then tries to do the whole process again. It doesnt go to the next
step with the graphical portion of the set up. It wants to do everything that
I just did again..

What is happening? How can I solve this problem?
 
You are bootin g to the CD when after reboot and youdont want to...dont hit
any key to make the CD boot the machine...let the hard drive boot and then
Setup will continue
