and if i have to activate do i have to call microsoft to delete my last
activation cause when i bought my notebook it came i think activated.
And the other question is in buttom the icon apeard saying that i have an
update "Windows Xp Sp 2" i pressed to download and it is gone for 4 days it
is till downloading? becuase other updates where downloading really fast like
it sais you have an update i press download and it was downloading in 3
minutes but SP 2 i am still waiting..
Please help me,
Thanks

Regarding you first question, in most cases, Windows XP
requires activation with Microsoft. This can be done over
the Internet in most cases (by using the link in your
start menu) or by calling Microsoft if you run into
trouble (the link in the start menu will also give you
toll-free phone numbers). If it has already been
activated, then you have nothing to worry about.

In response to your second question, Service Pack 2 is a
very, very large download. It takes a long time unless
you have a very fast connection. It will probably take a
few hours if you have DSL, or it may take days if you are
on dial-up. The icon in your system tray will download it
as it gets the chance and let you know when its done. My
advice would be to simply let it work and install it as
soon as it lets you know it is ready.

Good luck!
