I've just built myself a new pc and am at the stage of installing XP on to the hard drive (once installed on the new machine I will remove it off my current PC). However, XP does not detect the serial ATA hard drive, and the process stops. I believe that I have set up the bios correctly and the motherboard does identify the drive. Can anyone help me please

Thanks

Boot from CD to install. When the install start it should ask you to press
F6 if you have a SCSI card (or Controller card, etc) - you do! Press F6
then.. It should ask you for a Floppy disk that should have come with your
new stuff.. One for the SATA controller.
