installing win98 parallel to xp

i upgraded to windows xp when i bought a new computer
last winter and have been pleased with it. but there is
a particular piece of software that i miss using that
only runs in 98. i know it's possible to do a parallel
install, but would like some specifics on how to go about
this before i try. also, am i going to have problems
because all my hard drives are formatted to ntfs instead
of fat 32?? any help or advice would be great.

Before you get involved with buying third party software like partition
magic, which will partition your drive, and convert partitions or drives
from NTFS to FAT32: have you tried installing/running that "particular
piece of software" in the Compatibility Mode for Windows 98 or Windows 95?
