I want to install Vista 32 bit over Vista 64 bit. Is there a way to save
program installations from the 64 bit installation or will it be a total disc
wipe? I just can't find enough drivers to live with the 64 bit.

In a word, no.
You cannot upgrade/downgrade between 32 and 64 bit in either direction.
It will have to be a clean install, then install drivers and apps.

suggestion don't stay with vista

Concur with PvdG42... you'll have to wipe the box with a clean install.

Why not? I use it daily on my main home office box and it's fine.
Perhaps if you have questions or issues, somebody here could help you, if we
knew what they were?

No. x32 and x64 [as some call them] are essentially different software
'platforms' and so, currently, there are no upgrade paths.

Yes. You will have to do a clean reinstallation.
