Installing VB6 on Windows XP

Hello,
I am having trouble installing VB6 on Windows XP. I am getting a message
saying:
"Invalid Command Option: Setting\Temp\vs60wiz.exe"

I have a gut feelings there is some truncation of a path which may be "Local
Settings" but i am not sure.

Any assistance is really appreciated, and if i am posting this question in
the wrong place pls let me know where the right place is.
