Installing the security patch isn't working for me.

I've eliminated the W32BlasterWorm virus from my system
but when I attempt to install the patch, I get the
following message: 'Setup could not verify the integrity
of the file UPDATE.INF. Make sure the cryptographic
service is running on this computer.' I checked and it
is. What's a newbie to do? And I'm still getting the RPC
shutdown intermittently. Norton's up to date and I've
executed the FixTool. I'm frustrated and at a loss. I'd
appreciate any help that you can offer.
