We are experiencing problems with users being able to use
new software after we install it under admin accounts.
We also have had this problem with palms. It has
occurred with several different softwares that require
admin installation. Can anyone help with this.
Thanks,

Sylvia

You need to configure Group Directives :

From Start|Run|Gpedit.msc|Users Configuration|Administrative
Templates|System|open directive... Disable Specified Windows
Applications|Enable|Show|Add|Type Programs executable (Example: Internet
Explorer = iexplore.exe, etc.)

You'll need to prevent access to system command and Taskmanager because
access via them can still be posible:
To disable system command; (In the same folder); open directive... Remove
access to System Command, select Enable, apply, ok.
To disable Taskmanager; In CTRL+ALT+DEL Options (subfolder), open Remove
Taskmanager, Select Enable, Apply, Ok.

Hope this helps.
