Installing Software Under Windows XP Professional

I'm in the process of installing software on a new computer. In what order
should I install the following:
- Visual Studio .NET
- Office System 2003
- Windows .NET Framework
- Virtual PC
- Application Server(s) -- I have a few of them.

Also, if I set up a client/server network in my home and designate 1
computer as the server and the other computer as a client, what operating
system should I run on the server and which is best for the client; and do I
need to install all that software on all computers (especially my Outlook
data)?
