INSTALLING SERVICE PACK 2

I NEVER INSTALLED SERVICE PAK 1. I HAVE INSTALLED ALL WINDOWS UPDATES AND
HAVE CREATED A RESTORE POINT. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I NEED TO DO TO INSTALL
THESE SER. PAKS. AND DO I NEED TO INSTALL SER. PAK 1 BEFORE I INSTALL SER.
PAK 2. I HAVE THE CDS TO INSTALL FROM.
DOES WIN. XP RUN OK AFTER THIS CHANGE????

You do not need to install SP1 before SP2.

Turn your CAPS lock key off or SP2 will totally erase you harddrive...

Make sure your system is free of all malware, adware, & viruses.

Download, Update, & Run (Delete everything that is found)

Run everything a second time if the first time resulted in a high volume of
objects found.

Turn off virus software and firewall, install the SP2 CD and follow the
instructions.
You do not need to install SP1 before SP2
