Installing printer on Vista

I feel I am showing my ignorance here! I am trying & trying & trying) to
install Canon Laser shot LBP 1210 on my newly installed Acer computer with
Vista. When my computer shows the printer as being installed and I attempt
to print out a script on Windows Word 2007 the whole thing closes down. I
have Mcafee antivirus installed. The same thing happens when I attempt to
print out a script on Mozella Firefox. Does anyone know what is happening
here?

You'd do far better trying this question in a Vista newsgroup which will be
more appropriate to your problem. This newsgroup is dedicated to the
Microsoft Access database product.
