installing outlook 2003

I have tried installing outlook 2003 on my acer laptop but the error message
'microsoft office outlook setup cannot continue because the installation
source has been corrupted.' I have run a full anti virus check and my system
is clean. Outlook runs ok on another p.c I installed it on so it must be
something on this computer that is blocking installation. Any ideas and
advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
 
Try disabling/uninstalling your antivirus before running the install. If
that still fails, try copying the CD to a new folder on your hard drive
(e.g. c:\office2003) and then run setup from that folder.

Not necessarily. Perhaps the CD drive in the second machine is having
trouble reading the media. Perhaps you're trying to install an OEM version
on more than one machine.
